Professor Xiang has been engaged in research on stem cell pluripotency and tissue/organ regeneration, and has made outstanding achievements in basic research and clinical translation of stem cell therapies. He has published over 50 SCI papers in journals such as Hepatology, Mol Psychiatry, Leukemia, Cell Res, and PNAS, applied for 8 patents (including 2 PCT patents), obtained 3 authorized patents, developed 1 industry standard, and conducted 15 internationally registered stem cell clinical trials.
