Professor Fan has served as a specially invited reviewer for journals such as Science, Nature, Nature Genetics, Nature Neuroscience, Cell Stem Cell, Molecular Cell, and PNAS. Over the past 20 years, he has published more than 20 papers. Professor Fan led researchers from the Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research Center to develop a basic standard for comparing stem cells from human embryos to evaluate how culture conditions can be optimized to obtain stem cells in the laboratory, laying a foundation for scientists to better replicate natural stem cell development in artificial environments.
