Prof. Fan has served as an invited reviewer for Science, Nature, Nature Genetics, Nature Neuroscience, Cell Stem Cell, Molecular Cell, PNAS and other journals, and has published more than 20 papers in the past 20 years. Prof. Guoping Fan has led researchers at the Center for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research to develop a basic standard for comparing stem cells in human embryos to assess how to use culture conditions to try to obtain stem cells in the laboratory, which provides a foundation for scientists to better replicate natural stem cell development in an artificial environment.
